The ATSSC becomes the sole provider of resources and staff for 11 administrative tribunals and provides facilities and support services to those tribunals, including registry, administrative, research and analysis services.

La section 29 de la partie 6 édicte la Loi sur le Service canadien d’appui aux tribunaux administratifs, laquelle constitue le Service canadien d’appui aux tribunaux administratifs (SCATA) en tant que secteur de l’administration publique fédérale. Le SCATA devient le seul fournisseur de ressources et de personnel pour 11 tribunaux administratifs. Il fournit à ceux-ci des installations et divers services d’appui, notamment des services de greffe et des services administratifs, de recherche et d’analyse.

La partie 6 de la section 29 établit le Service canadien d'appui aux tribunaux administratifs (SCDATA) en tant que ministère figurant à l'annexe I.1 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques au sein du portefeuille de la Justice.

OBS

Nous avons constaté que l'acronyme «SCDATA» est utilisé sur le site du Ministère des Finances Canada pour désigner «Service canadien d'appui aux tribunaux administratifs». Alors que le site du Parlement présente le Projet de loi C-31 en première lecture avec l'acronyme français «SCATA» au lieu de «SCDATA».

Section 376 of the Bill enacts a new Act, the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada Act. That Act creates a new administrative entity, “The Administrative Tribunals Support Services” (to be called the “Service”), headed by a “Chief Administrator” with deputy minister status, reporting to the Minister of Justice.
