The sandy material from upstream and downstream of the dam will first be placed at the appropriate sites. Finer sediments from the auxiliary lock will then be placed on the resulting terrestrial and shoreline areas. The areas will then be groomed shaped, seeded, and riprapped consistent with adjacent shoreline. Deposition of rock fill and derrick stone across the upper and lower dam/riverbed cross sections is intended to stabilize bottom components and reduce undercutting of existing scour protection. 1, record 1, English, - derrick%20stone

6, record 2, French, - staurotide

Rammer test.... A test for investigating the resistance of a geotextile to puncturing by falling stones has been developed by the Bundesanstalt fur Wasserbau... in Germany. This test is carried out with a special 30 kg rammer.... The rammer test is carried out with a fall height of 2. 0 m or 1. 0 m depending on the stone to be used in the construction. The geotextile is placed on a layer of compacted sand and kept in place by means of a 170 kg concrete ring. Three tests are carried out in the machine, cross and diagonal direction of the geotextile. A geotextile is considered to be puncture resistant in this test if all the tests carried out show no puncturing. Each test is carried out on a new specimen. 1, record 4, English, - rammer%20test

Percement. 2, record 4, French, - essai%20de%20percement%20au%20poin%C3%A7on
