Structural equation modeling is a multivariate statistical analysis technique that is used to analyze structural relationships. This technique is the combination of factor analysis and multiple regression analysis, and it is used to analyze the structural relationship between measured variables and latent constructs. 4, record 1, English, - structural%20equation%20modelling

Nanobiology combines the ideas and theories of nanoscience and the materials and tools of nanotechnology with those of biology at the nanoscale(10[ to the minus 9 power] meters) level. The ability to observe, analyze, understand, and eventually manipulate biological systems at the sub-cellular and even molecular scales holds great promise for various branches of biology(for example, biochemistry, molecular, sub-cellular and structural biologies) and opens the way for important scientific contributions ranging from the development of new bio-imaging devices and sensors to the synthesis and characterization of novel bionanomaterials to advances in the theory, modeling and simulation of diverse nanoscale biological and fundamental life processes. 6, record 2, English, - nanobiology

4, record 2, French, - nanobiologie

CMC Blisk Material Development and Testing. Engineers at MSFC are developing fabrication processes and designs for ceramic matrix composite(CMC) components through material and component testing, structural modeling, microscopy, and nondestructive analysis techniques. CMCs will be utilized extensively on future generation launch vehicles for propulsion systems and for vehicle hot structure. They are necessary to enable lightweight components capable of operating over a wide temperature range. These advantages translate into increased safety and lower cost compared to state-of-the-art materials. MSFC is primarily responsible for developing CMCs and transitioning them into propulsion applications such as cooled and radiation cooled flow paths, thrust chambers, integrally bladed disks(blisks) and nozzles. Hot structures for leading edge and control surface applications are also supported. 2, record 3, English, - hot%20structure

Builder, an Interactive Molecular Construction Utility-Structural Modeling using Virtual Reality on the Web. In our paper we show how virtual reality(VR) working over the World Wide Web could be used by chemists and biochemists as an extremely powerful tool in analysing data and disseminating information as well as an interactive learning tool. We present examples of how we are using VR to investigate and visualise otherwise complex data and provide tools that convert experimental data to VR scenes. 1, record 5, English, - structural%20modeling

In epistemic diagnosis, the task of discovering which knowledge, correct or incorrect, has been used to produce behavior, and which relevant knowledge has been overlooked. This requires the availability of a modeling language and some form of differential modeling, whereby the knowledge used by the student can be compared to that which the expert would have used. The methods used in credit/blame assignment are : model tracing, structural consistency and longitudinal consistency. 3, record 6, English, - credit%2Fblame%20assignment
