The federal government has also been securing other major investments in Canada's economy, including : Summer 2022. BHP, in Jansen, Saskatchewan, with a $100 million federal investment to support a $7. 5 billion project to advance the development of a world-leading low-emissions potash mine. This investment will ensure Canada remains a global leader in both potash production and sustainable mining.
