Put simply, sequential advertising is a process by which ads are presented to a target audience in a predetermined order, with each message triggered by a user's previous action. Rather than persuading a user to take action immediately, this approach allows brands to tell a linear story-using a variety of creative methods and multiple channels-which builds towards the desired outcome as brand awareness and purchase intent increase along the customer journey. 2, record 2, English, - sequential%20advertising

Value averaging is an investing strategy that works like dollar cost averaging(DCA) in terms of steady monthly contributions, but differs in its approach to the amount of each monthly contribution. In value averaging, the investor sets a target growth rate or amount on his or her asset base or portfolio each month, and then adjusts the next month's contribution according to the relative gain or shortfall made on the original asset base. 4, record 9, English, - value%20averaging

The Children's Oral Health Initiative(COHI) was developed as a means to address the disparity between the oral health of First Nations and Inuit and that of the general Canadian population. COHI was launched on a test basis in Fall 2004. COHI focuses on the prevention of dental disease and promotion of good oral health practices. The goal of COHI is to shift the emphasis from a primarily treatment based approach to a more balanced prevention and treatment focus. The initial focus for oral health promotion will be directed at three target groups : pregnant women and primary caregivers; pre-school children, 0-4 years of age; and school children, 5-7 years of age. Health Canada expects that the COHI, once fully implemented in subsequent years, will result in significant improvement of the oral health in First Nations and Inuit. 1, record 12, English, - Children%26rsquo%3Bs%20Oral%20Health%20Initiative

Nearly every drug molecule works through a structural interaction with a "target" or "receptor" molecule or protein that plays key roles in all biological processes. In the most common model for this interaction, the drug molecule inserts itself into a functionally important crevice of its target protein, like a key in a lock. The molecule then binds there and either induces or, more commonly, inhibits the protein's normal function. This universal drug-target scheme suggests a powerful alternative approach to drug discovery : if it were possible to identify, in advance, the appropriate protein target for a given therapeutic need and if enough were known about the distinguishing structure of that target protein, it ought to be feasible to design the structure of an ideal drug to interact with it. 2, record 18, English, - target%20protein

Unfortunately, most enzymes do not presently have a crystallographic model available for identification of one or more residues having exposed apolar side chains.... For investigators having neither a crystallographic model of the enzyme of interests or a facility for obtaining and engineering the structural gene, use of a cross-linking reagent is recommended to increase stability. We have replaced bottom-up matching with an approach based on analogical mapping. Such an approach uses a set of heuristics to delimit what is to be "imported" from a base to a target domain at a given time. One such heuristic involves mapping previously formed abstractions, such as those embodying causal and planning rules. 3, record 30, English, - analogical%20mapping
