Two SAR [synthetic aperture radar] images of the same area are required and at least one strong point-like target must be visible in both scenes. The target response should originate from the same stable scatterer. For the technique a very coarse digital elevation model(DEM) of the scene is suitable. Researchers employed an innovative guidance strategy to produce new guidance laws that are nonlinear variants of augmented PRONAV.... The new concept led to guidance laws that do not depend on time-to-go, indirectly minimize miss distance, and compensate for both target and missile acceleration. By applying the new guidance strategy to the complete, fully coupled, nonlinear, intercept kinematics, researchers developed two families of guidance laws that account for various levels of cross-channel couplings between the azimuth and elevation guidance channels. 2, record 16, English, - guidance%20law

The 8-40x uses short, 3/4" diameter target turrets for adjusting the 1/4 minute elevation and windage adjustments. The turrets are numbered every ten clicks but the numbers on the turrets are half of the number of clicks, i. e. at twenty clicks the mark reads 10. The turrets are set using 1 grup screw which allows quick and accurate adjustment to the zero mark after sighting in. 3, record 19, English, - accurate%20adjustment

Hydrological Data Collection. In order to model the hydrology of a stream study segment over a range of flow rates, it is necessary to collect specific data defining the hydraulic boundary conditions. Boundary conditions define the target hydraulic simulation output, i. e. the desired flow rate, velocity and water surface elevation at the up-stream and down-stream ends of the segment. Hydraulic boundary are typically defined by flow rate, velocity magnitude and direction and/or water surface elevation. Boundary conditions, for instream flow analysis, are usually defined at the up-stream or down-stream boundaries of the study segment. In addition to the boundary conditions it is important to collect both quantitative and qualitative hydraulic information within the boundaries of the study segment. This additional data is used for model calibration and verification. 1, record 20, English, - hydraulic%20boundary

The GTE Sylvania Precision Automated Tracking System(PATS) is a mobile laser tracking and ranging system which gathers, records and displays space-position information on a wide variety of vehicles and targets in real time, with great accuracy. Self-contained in a mobile van, PATS requires a maximum of two operators. It measures azimuth, elevation and range automatically by transmitting a laser pulse to a target and measuring the angle of return and the roundtrip time. 3, record 21, English, - Precision%20Automated%20Tracking%20System
