The Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre(TBIFC) operates a diversion program for youth(16-17) and adults. The program was established to restore a greater degree of responsibility by the Aboriginal community for the conduct of Aboriginal people in conflict with the justice system and to determine appropriate dispositions for Aboriginal youth and adults who have been charged with offences.
