An ebb-tidal delta is a complex of shoals and channels on the seaward side of the inlet. It consists of sand that is intercepted from the longshore transport system and is carried seaward and deposited by ebb-tidal currents, where it is subsequently modified by incident waves and ambient tidal currents. Ebb deltas exhibit a variety of forms dependent on the relative magnitude of wave and tidal energy of the region as well as geological controls. 6, record 2, English, - ebb%2Dtidal%20delta

3, record 4, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20fluvial
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 CONT
4, record 4, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20fluvial
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 3 CONT
2, record 4, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20fluvial

Coastal Ocean Water Level Information System(COWLIS). This system is being developed privately in response to marine shipping, safety and resource management requirements and it integrates the real time telemetering of modern tide gauges into the data network. A central system gathers the tidal data from numerous gauges via modems, and the user can gain access to this data via special COWLIS "Tideview" software operating on a PC. 4, record 5, English, - Coastal%20Ocean%20Water%20Level%20Information%20System
