University of Toronto. The Centre for Health Promotion is an extra-departmental unit of the Department of Public Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto. It was established in 1989 as a result of efforts of faculty and students in the Division of Community Health, and was funded initially through the Bertha Rosenstadt Endowment Fund.
