1, record 2, French, - charge%20polluante%20en%20m%C3%A9taux

The Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment(GOME) was launched on April 21st 1995 on board the second European Remote Sensing Satellite(ERS-2). This instrument can measure a range of atmospheric trace constituents, with the emphasis on global ozone distributions. GOME is a nadir-viewing spectrometer that measures the solar radiation scattered by the atmosphere in the ultraviolet and visible spectral region(240 to 790 nm). 1, record 4, English, - Global%20Ozone%20Monitoring%20Experiment

TAGA. The Trace Atmospheric Gas Analyser was developed at the University of Toronto and SCIEX Ltd. The device uses a quadrapole mass spectrometer in continuous operational mode. System sensitivity is high(ppt levels), selectivity for various pollutants is good, and can be used in a mobile environment. EPS is evaluating the device for a monitoring role. The system is quite expensive(well over $100, 000) and requires a high level of expertise to operate. Because of its price it will probably be limited to use by organizations conducting large atmospheric surveys. 1, record 5, English, - trace%20atmospheric%20gas%20analyser
