Chronoamperometry involves the study of the variation of the current response with time under potentiostatic control. Generally, the working electrode is stepped from a potential at which there is no electrode reaction to one corresponding to the mass-transport-limited current, and the resulting current–time transient is recorded.

Basically, CP/M [Control Program for Microcomputers] is divided into four parts BIOS [basic input/output system], BDOS, CCP [console command processor] and TPA [transient program area]. BDOS stands for basic disk-operating system. As the words imply, BDOS deals directly with the disks themselves. It may be thought of as a directory or guide to what is stored on the disks, and where. BDOS is your computer's electronic file clerk, organizing the information given it so that once it has been filed away on the disks, the computer can find it again when it is needed.

Environmental Chamber Specifications. The 10 X 10 X 8 foot chamber is designed for studying steady-state and transient exposures to gaseous and volatilizable environmental pollutants. The single-pass chamber air-flow and construction materials also permit the study of very low levels of volatile organic chemicals(VOCs). The system draws in outside air, passes it through both high-efficiency gas and particle filters(HEGA, HEPA), and then used closed-loop direct digital control to achieve a prescribed flow, temperature, and relative humidity. While the chamber was designed for relatively high air-flow(0. 5 to 2 air exchanges/minute), low flow(1 air exchange/hour) can be obtained with reduced ranges of temperature and humidity.

The distinction between the transient and permanent regime is essential : in particular, the "steady-state regime" must be understood as the regime that is reached asymptotically, long after transients have decayed(long time limit). Permanent regime can be simple, i. e., time-independent, time-periodic, or more complicated, i. e., quasi-periodic or even chaotic. The fundamental theoretical problem is then to "predict" the characteristics of the permanent regime reached by a given system as a function of available initial conditions and control parameters.
