[The fisheries research service] agreed that the correct positioning of [a square mesh netting panel] was critical and concluded that the ideal location with a view to reduce the risk of twisting was in the top sheet at the end of the tapered netting section.... Furthermore[, ] if positioned at the end of the tapered section, the length and cutting rate of the main trawl body might have to be adjusted to allow for a shorter extension/codend length... This was to ensure enough netting to enable the codend to be hauled to the bag hatch, usually positioned on a vessel' s starboard side. 1, record 5, English, - tapered%20netting%20section

Active steering gives drivers more precise handling and tracking : this ensures that their automobiles are more mobile and agile even on twisting roads. A planetary gear is integrated with the steering column; depending on the situation, the feature varies the angle of steering determined by the user at the wheel(superimposed steering). It increases the steering angle at lower and mid-range speeds; by contrast, at higher speeds(e. g. on motorways), the steering angle is reduced. When parking, the active steering feature makes it easier to manoeuvre by amplifying the movements of the steering wheel. 2, record 27, English, - active%20steering

In the torsion hygrometer, the rotation of the hygrometric element is a function of the humidity. Such hygrometers are constructed by taking a substance whose length is a function of the humidity and twisting or spiralling it under tension in such a manner that a change in length will cause a further rotation of the element. 2, record 70, English, - torsion%20hygrometer

The most common current wing design is the cantilever. A single large beam, called the main spar, runs through the wing, typically nearer the leading edge at about 25 percent of the total chord. In flight, the wings generate lift, and the wing spars are designed to carry this load through the fuselage to the other wing. To resist fore and aft movement, the wing will usually be fitted with a second smaller drag-spar nearer the trailing edge, tied to the main spar with structural elements or a stressed skin. The wing must also resist twisting forces, done either by a monocoque "D" tube structure forming the leading edge, or by the aforementioned linking two spars in some form of box beam or lattice girder structure. 4, record 72, English, - cantilever%20wing

If the grounded-grid amplifier were a perfect amplifier, a bent signal would be amplified bent. However, the grounded-grid amplifier, like all amplifiers, is not perfect; it bends just as much as the cathode follower does. Now, do the two circuits bend in the same direction or opposite directions? Since the common-cathode produces such a clean output, the answer can only be that they bend in opposite directions, so the grounded-grid amplifier undoes the cathode follower's twist of the signal by twisting in the other direction. 1, record 75, English, - grounded%2Dgrid%20amplifier

Causas.

5, record 83, Spanish, - epicondilitis%20lateral

Control-line model airplanes are flown in a circle, attached to a handle by a set of lines. The pilot can control the flight of the model by manipulating the handle. Flying model airplanes on lines has a long and illustrious history. The earliest attempts at "control-line" used one line attached to a long pole. The pilot would cause the airplane to climb or dive by "leading" it with the pole. The person usually credited with inventing the now widely used two line system is Jim Walker, who came up with the idea sometime in the 30s or 40s. The two line system(often referred to a "U-Control", and used on perhaps 99% of control line models) uses a triangular bellcrank to transfer the movement of the wires to the pushrod, connected to the elevator and/or flap control horns. Some Speed flyers use "monoline", which is a system that utilizes line twisting for control. 5, record 95, English, - control%2Dline%20model%20airplane
