Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The term "door bottom" is used to designate two concepts. In a broad sense, it is used to describe a type or class of weatherstripping used to seal the gap at the bottom of a door and includes weatherstripping attached to the floor or threshold as well as weatherstripping affixed to the bottom of the door itself(i. e., full threshold weatherstripping, partial threshold weatherstripping, door bottoms and door sweeps). In a narrower sense, "door bottom" designates one type of weatherstripping that is fixed to the bottom of the door and covers the entire thickness of the door(as opposed to a door sweep, which is attached on the exterior side of the door only). 3, record 3, English, - door%20bottom

I found that the preliminary winds that the athlete makes in the back of the throwing circle during the early part of the throw, as well as the single-foot support phases that occur later on during the full turns are very important for the result. This contradicted the widely held belief of coaches that these parts of the throw do not contribute much to the distance of the throw. 5, record 7, English, - preliminary%20swing

A trade name for a heavy caterpillar-mounted continuous miner for operation in thick seams. The front end contains two cutter-arms which rotate in opposite directions to sweep the coal they cut inwards towards the centre. The broken coal is taken back through the machine to a chain conveyor. Two cutter chains are arranged at roof and floor level behind the arms to cut down the coal left between the rotating arms. The machine cuts an area 12 ft wide and 7 ft high. Power is supplied by two motors, one of 70 h. p. and the other 25 h. p. It has a continuous capacity from 3 to 3 1/2 t. p. m. 1, record 8, French, - Marietta
