Résistance au double pli [...] Elle est déterminée par la rupture de la feuille soumise à des plis successifs sous une certaine tension. On lit le nombre de doubles plis (un pli dans chaque sens) de l'enregistreur après rupture. C'est un test très long et très imprécis ([plus ou moins] 20 %) qui n'est utilisé que pour certains papiers. Rappelons que cette résistance croît avec l'humidité ambiante.
