Tolerance of plants to low water availability would involve physiological changes that allow the plant to survive the low water contents.... Cotton plants show some capacity to acclimate to low water conditions(tolerance) ;if they are watered daily, leaves wilt when they reach 90% relative water content(i. e. they lose 10% of their maximum water content). Genetically identical cotton grown under field conditions(drier) will wilt at 85% relative water content. 3, record 4, French, - immunoth%C3%A9rapie%20par%20voie%20sublinguale

The extended coverage provided by the STING suits works on the principle that increased bladder coverage will cause a larger increase in lower body tissue pressure versus older style, cut-away G-suits. Walnut wilt is a noninfectious disease which causes the sudden wilt and death of many plant species. The problem occurs in the beds of sensitive plants growing near walnut trees... The cause is an active compound known as juglone produced by these trees. Juglone has been isolated from the roots, leaves, bark, and husks. The compound can also be found in a narrow zone in the soil surrounding the living roots. Because of this limited distribution of the toxin, the position of juglone producing roots underground is reflected in the pattern of wilting plants above ground... Affected plants wilt suddenly and often show a browning of the vascular tissues just under the outer layers of the main stem... Some plants with mild tolerance may show stunting, lack of flower development, and/or lack of vigor. 2, record 8, English, - walnut%20wilt

The manufacturing tolerance and allowance permitted distinguishes one class of thread from another under the unified thread system. Because allowance is an intentional difference between correlated size dimensions of mating threads, and tolerance is the difference between limits of size, a thread class may be considered to control the looseness or tightness between mating threaded parts. The American National standard for unified and National screw threads provides classes 1A, 2A, and 3A for external threads, classes 1B, 2B, and 3B for internal threads, and classes 2 and 3 for both internal and external threads. Threads are designated by standardized notes. Under the unified system, threads are specified by giving in order the nominal diameter, number of threads per inch, the initial letters such as UNC or UNF that identify the series, and class of thread (1A, 2A, and 3A or 1B, 2B and 3B). Threads are considered to be right-hand and single unless otherwise noted; therefore the specification for a left-hand thread must have the letters LH included. 2, record 22, English, - thread%20class
