As for any other behaviour, behaviour analysis approaches verbal behaviour functionally. Therefore, the study of verbal behaviour examines first and foremost the conditions under which verbal responses are produced and their effects, rather than their form(e. g. vocal or written responses) or their structure(e. g. grammatical classification). Therefore, gestures, sign language, images or symbols selection and writing can all be used and taught to communicate and may fully satisfy the definition of verbal behaviour in the same way as vocal language. 3, record 7, English, - verbal%20behaviour

Exercise Advice : Place a barbell under your chin, resting it securely across the tops of your shoulders. Hold the barbell in place with your hands with elbows elevated so that [they] are parallel to the floor. Your feet should be just beyond shoulder width apart. Begin this exercise by squatting as though you are going to sit down in a chair. Squat to a point to where your thighs become parallel to the floor and then return to the start position. It is very important that you keep your back as straight as possible throughout this movement(one way to help do this is to focus your eyes on a spot high on the wall in front of you throughout the entire exercise). 1, record 12, English, - front%20barbell%20squat

To show that God Almighty has placed upon the before-mentioned peoples an unchanging and irrevocable charge and responsibility, in that they are called to act as His servants and His instruments in preparing the way for the establishment of the Kingdom of God under the direct sovereignty of Jesus Christ. 4. To establish as a fact that the said beliefs are supported and confirmed by the Holy Scriptures. 5. To promote the unification and consolidation of Christendom as expressed in the Anglo-Celto-Saxon and related peoples. 2, record 26, English, - British%2DIsrael%2DWorld%20Federation%20%28Canada%29%20Inc%2E

Canadian Origin Stories-The Birth of Good and Evil. The story of Sky Woman's descent to earth continues with the birth of Sky Woman's daughter. Sky Woman's daughter gives birth to twin sons. Even prior to their birth, these two sons are in conflict. The good twin is born in the natural way, while his evil brother, jealous of his sibling's being born first, pushes himself out his mother's side. The birth of the twins marks the beginning of the battle of good and evil on earth. The brothers grow quickly and begin to fill the world with their creations. One creates all that is good and useful to humans, while the other is destructive, and creates all that is bad. Eventually the good twin defeats his evil brother, and banishes him to a pit under the earth. From this pit the evil twin sends emissaries that continue to bring evil into the world. Rather than foster full recognition of both English and French in Canadian society, the actions of the Department of Justice would result in diminished opportunities for their use. The breach of obligations under section 41 must also be seen in light of the principle of official language equality under section 16 of the Charter, as well as the recognition that governments in Canada should advance by way of legislative action the equality of status or use of French and English. The principle of equality of our official languages must have substantive effects in order to ensure its full implementation. This imposes a constitutional obligation on the federal government to take the initiative in creating a necessary institutional support to the use of either official language. 1, record 64, French, - stockage%20d%27%C3%A9nergie%20dans%20des%20volants%20d%27inertie

Record number: 73, Textual support number: 1 OBS
It differs from a tax deduction, which is subtracted from a person's or a corporation's total income, thus lowering the taxable income against which income tax is levied. The value of the tax deduction for an individual depends on the level of income. The higher the income, the higher the top marginal rate of tax, and the greater the value of the tax deduction. In the case of a tax credit, however, the value is the same to all recipients, since it is deducted from the actual tax they would otherwise pay. The tax credit is considered a preferable way of extending benefits to individuals since it gives all recipients the same amount of money, while a tax deduction gives a greater benefit to people with high incomes. Moreover, a tax credit can be paid to people whose income is too low to require them to pay taxes, under a system of negative income tax, whereas a tax deduction can only benefit people who have taxable income. 3, record 73, English, - tax%20credit

The model called diffusion-limited aggregation(DLA) was introduced by Witten and Sander(1981).... The rules of the model are simple. One puts a seed particle at the origin of the lattice. Another particle is launched far from the origin and is allowed to walk at random(diffuse) until it arrives at a site adjacent to the seed particle. Then it is stopped, and another particle is launched which stops when adjacent to the two occupied sites, and so forth. In this way large clusters can be generated whose structure is expected to be characteristic for objects grown under diffusion-limited conditions. 3, record 79, English, - diffusion%2Dlimited%20aggregation

The Strategic Defense Initiative(SDI) was a proposal by U. S. President Ronald Reagan on March 23, 1983 to use ground and space-based systems to protect the United States from attack by strategic nuclear ballistic missiles. The initiative focused on strategic defense rather than the prior strategic offense doctrine of mutual assured destruction(MAD). Though it was never fully developed or deployed, the research and technologies of SDI paved the way for some anti-ballistic missile system of today. The Strategic Defense Initiative Organization(SDIO) was set up in 1984 within the United States Department of Defense to oversee the Strategic Defense Initiative. It gained the popular name Star Wars after the 1977 film by George Lucas. Under the administration of President Bill Clinton in 1993, its name was changed to the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization(DMDO) and its emphasis was shifted from national missile defense to theater missile defense; from global to regional coverage. BMDO was renamed to the Missile Defense Agency in 2002. 1, record 82, English, - Strategic%20Defense%20Initiative

Lockout and tagging ensures that hazardous energy sources are under the control of each worker. Serious or fatal accidents can occur when people assume that machinery is turned off or made harmless but it isn’t. Lockout is a procedure that prevents the release of hazardous energy. It often involves workers using a padlock to keep a switch in the "off" position, or to isolate the energy of moving parts. This prevents electric shock, sudden movement of components, chemical combustion, falling counterweights, and other actions that can endanger lives. Lockout is a physical way to ensure that the energy source is de-energized, deactivated, or otherwise inoperable. 2, record 88, English, - lock%2Dout

3, record 88, French, - verrouillage

The Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act(CRERA), which was enacted on August 5, 1983(Public Law 98-67, title II), contains the trade component of the Caribbean Basin Initiative(CBI) that was launched in 1983 to expand private sector opportunities and investment in nontraditional sectors of the Caribbean Basin Beneficiaries as a way to help them diversify their economies and expand their exports. The CBERA authorized the President to proclaim duty-free treatment to eligible articles from designated beneficiary Caribbean Basin countries and dependent territories. The first proclamations and designations under the Act took effect on January 1, 1984. The Act was scheduled to remain in effect until September 30, 1995, but was expanded in 1990 by the Basin Economic Recovery Expansion Act(Public Law 101-382, title II) with no statutory expiration date. The primary goal of CBERA is to promote export-oriented growth in the Caribbean Basin countries and to diversify their economies away from such traditional agricultural products and raw materials as aluminum, bananas, coffee, petroleum, and sugar. 1, record 91, English, - Caribbean%20Basin%20Economic%20Recovery%20Act

The IUPAC International Chemical Identifier(InChI, pronounced "INchee") is a textual identifier for chemical substances designed to provide a standard and human-readable way to encode molecular information and to facilitate the search for such information in databases and on the web. Developed by IUPAC [International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry] and NIST [National Institute of Standards and Technology] during 2000-2005, the format and algorithms are non-proprietary and the software is freely available under the open source LGPL license(though the term "InChI" is a trademark of IUPAC). 4, record 92, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier
Record number: 92, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Every InChI starts with the string "InCHI=" followed by the version number, currently 1. The remaining information is structured as a sequence of layers and sub-layers, with each layer providing one specific type of information. The layers and sub-layers are separated by the delimiter "/" and start with a characteristic prefix letter (except for the chemical formula sub-layer of the main layer). 4, record 92, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier

The InChIKey, sometimes referred to as a hashed InChI, is a fixed length (25 character) condensed digital representation of the InChI that is not human-readable. The InChIKey specification was released in September 2007 in order to facilitate web searches for chemical compounds, since these were problematical with the full-length InChI. 4, record 92, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier

One of the primary objectives of ICAO is to promote the safety of civil aviation worldwide. With 188 Contracting States, and its active involvement in global aviation safety issues, ICAO is well-positioned to assume a coordinating role with respect to the many safety initiatives under way worldwide all with the common aim of reducing the number and rate of aviation accidents. Recognizing this, in 1997 the Air Navigation Commission proposed an ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan(GASP) to the ICAO Council. 1, record 97, English, - Global%20Aviation%20Safety%20Plan

Supercritical fluid technology is based on properties of compounds when they are placed under pressure and temperature conditions beyond their critical point. Supercritical fluids have a viscosity close to gases, a density close to liquids, and a high diffusivity. The state changes gaseous/supercritical and liquid/supercritical occur in a continuous way. Supercritical fluids have then a tunable solvent power : solubility of compounds in the fluid is correlated to pressure and temperature. Several supercritical fluids have been studied, including propane and water, but the most widely used is supercritical CO2. 2, record 99, English, - supercritical
