This flagship series brings together Parliamentarians with experts across science and engineering, showcasing outstanding Canadian research accomplishments. Its purpose is to provide unbiased insight into topical scientific issues, within a non-partisan forum in which lobbying is not permitted. This prestigious forum represents a unique opportunity for scientists to communicate important findings to a distinguished and influential audience, which includes key decision-makers. The series is organized by PAGSE, an umbrella group of 25 + science and engineering organizations operating under the auspices of the Royal Society, and is cosponsored by NSERC. Le Partenariat en faveur des sciences et de la technologie (PFST), en collaboration avec le Conseil de rcherches en sciences naturelles et en génie (CRSNG), propose chaque mois un petit déjeuner-causerie organisé sur la Colline du Parlement sous le titre «Petit déjeuner avec des têtes à Papineau», qui a pour but de renseigner les parlementaires sur les derniers progrès scientifiques et technologiques. Le PFST est une association coopérative qui regroupe une vingtaine d'organismes nationaux dans le domaine des sciences et de la technologie représentant environ 50,000 individus membres provenant de l'industrie, du milieu universitaire et du gouvernement.
