The mandate of the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer is to provide the linkage required to facilitate articulation, transfer and admission arrangements between the college, institute and agency system and the university sector. Specifically, the Council, in cooperation with post-secondary institutions, develops policies which facilitate and ease the inter-institutional transferability of post-secondary courses so that credit can be applied toward baccalaureate degrees in universities and other degree granting institutions.
