UNSTRUCTURED LEARNING [4 records]

Record 1 2025-03-20

English

Subject field(s)
  • Artificial Intelligence
CONT

Deep learning is a more advanced version of machine learning that is particularly adept at processing a wider range of data resources(text, as well as unstructured data including images), requires even less human intervention, and can often produce more accurate results than traditional machine learning. Deep learning uses neural networks—based on the ways neurons interact in the human brain—to ingest and process data through multiple neuron layers that recognize increasingly complex features of the data.

OBS

Deep learning can be applied to a wide range of AI tasks, including machine translation and object detection.

DEF

A lifelong process whereby individuals acquire attitudes, values, skills and knowledge from daily experience and the educative influences and resources in their environment, from family and neighbors, from work and play, from the marketplace, the library and the mass media.

CONT

Informal learning ... is not structured (in terms of learning objectives, learning time or learning support) and typically does not lead to certification. Informal learning may be intentional but in most cases it is non-intentional (or "incidental" / "random").

DEF

The purpose of the nondirective model is to provide a foundation for personal growth and development so that learning will continue throughout life in a self-directed manner. This model is based on Carl Rogers work, and the idea that instruction should be based on human relations. Nondirective teaching brings the student and teacher together to guide the students’ learning. The model can be very unstructured in that the student decides what they will learn next and why. It may also be used in conjunction with other models.
