Gains, losses and provisions for losses resulting from normal business activities which are both abnormal in size and caused by rare or unusual circumstances, have sometimes been considered to be extraordinary items. However, because such items result from occurrences the underlying nature of which is typical of the customary business activities of the enterprise, even though caused by unusual circumstances, they are not extraordinary items. 4, record 2, English, - unusual%20item

In many instances Cabinet Ministers are asked questions in the House of Commons as a result of news reports or information derived from other sources. Therefore, in this order, "unusual incident" means any occurrence, major or minor, including news reports, that will or may create public interest, or is likely to be the subject of questions to the Minister or Associate Minister directly or in the House of Commons. Incidents that fall within the "may" aspects of this definition are anticipatory and as such must be assessed against the criteria :"is it possible that the incident will create public interest and form the subject of question to NDHQ or Ministers? As a general rule, any unusual incident that involves or could involve the public should be assessed as a possible subject for a Significant Incident Report or an Item of Possible Interest to Ministers. 3, record 3, English, - Significant%20Incident%20Report

A blanket or other familiar object that gives security or comfort to its owner. 6, record 4, English, - comfort%20object
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 CONT
A comfort object is an item used to provide psychological comfort, especially in unusual or unique situations or at bedtime for small children. Though many toddlers prefer a teddy bear or doll, a stuffed animal, a favorite blanket, or even a toy such as a dump truck could be a comfort object at some stages... Some teenagers have been known to still sleep with comfort objects, though they will probably not talk to them as a small child might. Even adults can use comfort objects at times, as elderly people in nursing homes have been known to be comforted after being given a stuffed bear or doll. The theory is that this reminds them of the more serene moments of childhood. 7, record 4, English, - comfort%20object
