Steam reformers are systems that produce synthesis gas, a mixture of carbon monoxide(CO) and hydrogen(H2). In this process, light hydrocarbons such as natural gas are separated-using hot water vapor and a catalyst-into CO and H2. In a subsequent step, the CO is then converted into carbon dioxide(CO2) using steam, generating additional quantities of hydrogen. The gas mixture is then cleaned and the CO2 and other unwanted constituents removed. 2, record 31, English, - steam%20reformer

The laparoscopic cholecystectomy involves the insertion of a long narrow cylindrical tube with a camera on the end, through an approximately 1 cm incision in the abdomen, which allows visualization of the internal organs and projection of this image onto a video monitor. Three smaller incisions allow for insertion of other instruments to perform the surgical procedure. 1, record 61, French, - chol%C3%A9cystectomie%20par%20laparoscopie

Yarns in a fabric have a greater or lesser tendency to slip depending on factors such as yarn type, weave, ends ands and picks per unit length, fabric weight, and the type of finishing process. 2, record 78, English, - yarn%20slippage
Record number: 78, Textual support number: 2 OBS
There are two major types of seam slippage: 1) When stress is applied to a seam, the yarns in the fabric slip out of the stitching causing an open seam; and 2) When stress is applied to a seam, the yarns in the fabric shift of slide in the weave construction causing seam grinning and fabric distortion. We will refer to the first type as "seam slippage" and the second as "yarn slippage". 3, record 78, English, - yarn%20slippage

The Brandon Humane Society has been in operation since 1946 when it was founded by Eleanor Kidd. She originally housed the shelter in her garage on 13th Street, then in an abandoned stable near Empress Bay, and later in an old barn near the riverbank where Eleanor Kidd Gardens are now located. In 1997, the shelter moved to its new premises at 2200 17th Street East. These days, our residents-both cats and dogs-live in a comfortable building with heat and air conditioning, two large exercise yards, an enclosed cat patio, and enough kennels for 20 cats and 13 dogs. When our kennels are full, our dedicated volunteers foster animals in their own homes. Since this is a no-kill shelter, the atmosphere is very positive... our animals are loved and well cared for as they wait to be adopted. We invite you to come visit us and see for yourself! Our Mandate.
