When not in use, the reversers are held in the locked position by 13th stage air and a mechanical lock. Each engine throttle has an additional handle which is used to actuate the thrust reversers. The reverse thrust lever pivots about a point near to the top of the throttle. If reverse trust is required, the throttle must be retarded to closed and then the reverse thrust lever must be pulled up. A basic principle in self assembly is selective stickiness: if two molecular parts have complementary shapes and charge patterns, one part has a hollow where the other part has a bump, and one part has a positive charge where the other part has a negative charge, then they will tend to stick together in one particular way. By shaking these parts around, something which thermal noise does for us quite naturally if the parts are floating in solution, the parts will eventually, purely by chance, be brought together in just the right way and combine into a bigger part. This bigger part can combine in the same way with other parts, letting us gradually build a complex whole from molecular pieces by stirring them together and shaking. 3, record 12, English, - self%2Dassembly

The key to building electronic devices out of individual molecules is self assembly. 4, record 12, English, - self%2Dassembly
Record number: 12, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Historically, the idea of supramolecular interactions dates back to the famous metaphor of Emil Fischer(1894), who described a selective interaction of molecules as the lock and key principle. Today, supramolecular chemistry has by far surpassed its original focus. Molecular self-assemblies combine several features of covalent and non-covalent synthesis to make large and structurally well-defined assemblies of atoms. Single van der Waals interactions and hydrogen bonds are weak relative to typical covalent bonds and comparable to thermal energies. Therefore, many of these weak non-covalent interactions are necessary in order to achieve molecular stability in self-assembled aggregates. In biology, there are many complex systems of nanoscale structures such as proteins and viruses which are formed by self-assembly. Living systems sum up many weak interactions between chemical entities to make large ones. 1, record 12, English, - self%2Dassembly

Record number: 14, Textual support number: 1 CONT
A tennis racquet is normally held at the end of the shaft called the "grip". The "shaft" is a long structural part of a tennis racket, stretching from the throat area all the way to the butt of the racquet. Only a part of the "shaft" is made for contact with the hand. This part is called the "handle". Nonetheless some authors have confused the issue by making "shaft" and "handle" synonyms by saying that new dampening materials have been incorporated in the "handle", when they really mean "shaft": "... features Head’s Ultrazorb in the handle to dampen vibration and a new contoured grip for more secure feel". 5, record 14, English, - racket%20handle

The MLG [main landing gear] retracts inwards into the fuselage wheel well. Each MLG has two doors. The outboard door is rigidly attached at the strut. The inboard door operates by mechanical linkage to the strut and is held in up position by two uplock cylinders. This uplock is released when landing gear lever is placed in down position by hydraulic pressure, or by nitrogen pressure in emergency. The MLG is held, while airborne, in retracted position by hydraulic pressure in the actuator and by the inboard door mechanical uplock, if pressure drops. As the gear is extended, an internal lock in the actuator automatically locks it in fully extended positions. 4, record 18, English, - landing%20gear%20control%20lever

There are two main types of pressurized structure but really unambiguous descriptions of them do not yet exist :(a) those that are held up by ribs or inflated "tyres" and therefore do not need an air lock to allow inward or outward access;(b) those that do need an air lock, have no inflated ribs and therefore must be held up by an internal air pressure slightly above atmospheric.... The ribbed structures are called "air inflated" and the non-ribbed ones "air supported".... The air-supported structures... are often used as a temporary shelter.... The edges must be weighted, or buried in soil which comes to the same thing, so as to counterbalance the upthrust on the roof skin of the small excess pressure. 3, record 45, English, - air%2Dsupported%20structure
