Because of the high energy density of cryogenic propellants, a cryogenic upper stage is a significant asset to the payload community. However, the use of cryogenic upper stages in manned programs [was] limited to the Saturn Apollo program, primarily due to safety considerations involving the former shuttle transportation system. There was the risk of a "return to launch site" abort with a full or partial load of cryogenic propellants in the cargo bay, which could overpressurize after landing. 2, record 1, English, - cryogenic%20upper%20stage

There are four ongoing abundance indices for the upper St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario system : a long-term count of juvenile eels ascending the eel ladder at the Moses-Saunders Power Dam, a trawl survey index in the Bay of Quinte(Lake Ontario), an index of abundance based on an electrofishing survey in eastern Lake Ontario, and dam tailwater surveys of emigrating adults at Moses-Saunders Power Dam. The first three, longer-term Ontario abundance indices, showed significant negative trends over the past 10 to 36 years, indicating that eels are at about 3% of their mid-1980s abundance, far from the objective of rebuilding stocks to mid-1980s levels. 1, record 2, English, - eel%20ladder

M. S. Tecumseth and H. M. S. Bee. The naval and military establishments in Penetanguishene operated for 39 years, from 1817 to 1856. In the summer of 1951, the Chamber of Commerce of Penetanguishene decided to develop the site of the old establishment as an historical and recreation park. It restored the remaining buildings, the officer’s quarters, and opened a scenic road along the bay. It was called the Historic Naval and Military Establishments.
