How to perform the Smith machine deadlift. First, set up the Smith bar on the floor with the desired weight you want to lift. Walk up to the bar so that your shins are directly against the Smith bar. Squat down towards the bar until your upper thigh is parallel to the floor. Next, grab the bar with a mixed grip with one hand overhand and one hand underhand. Now, drive your hips upward by contracting your quads and glutes. You are attempting to bring the weight upwards as you stand up. As the bar is being lifted off of the floor, begin to straighten your back up so that it is fully erect. This will utilize the muscles in the back. Once your have reached full standing position, slowly lower the weight back toward the floor. 2, record 12, English, - Smith%20machine%20deadlift

"Tilt-up construction... is a quick, economical method of constructing concrete walls. Wall panels are cast horizontally on the floor slab. Then, once they are strong enough, a mobile crane lifts the panels up and sets them on a foundation. The panels are temporarily braced while the roof and upper floor framing is constructed. An investigation of the incident in North Carolina revealed that the employer had failed to install adequate bracing, and/or had removed temporary braces on several of the tilt-up wall panels, before completing all permanent connections to the structure.... Ensure that tilt-up panels are properly braced to resist wind and lateral forces. 3, record 22, English, - braced

With the sky-lobby system, a tower is treated like a layer cake of two or three buildings, one on top of the other. For service in the lowest layer, elevators run up from the main lobby in the usual way. The lowest floor of each upper layer is a "sky lobby", which is reached by fast, roomy express elevators that run nonstop from the main floor. At the sky lobby passengers take local elevators to their floors. The hoistways for these local elevators begin at the sky lobby instead of at the main floor, thus in the stories below the sky lobby this area is available as floor space. 3, record 24, English, - transfer%20floor
