5, record 3, French, - plate%2Dforme%20inertielle

The prefixes "ortho-," "meta-" and "para-," along with their corresponding abbreviations ("o-," "m-" and "p-"), appear in italics and are ignored in alphabetizing. According to the actual chemical nomenclature rules in organic chemistry (in 2003), the numbers designating the positions of the disubstitution groups (1,2- for "ortho-," 1,3- for "meta-" and 1,4- for "para-") are to be preferred to the symbols "o-," "m-" and "p-." Furthermore, the prefixes "ortho-," "meta-" and "para-" should not be used anymore, and their corresponding abbreviations ("o-," "m-," and "p-") will soon be judged to be avoided, if not totally condemned. 5, record 5, English, - benzene%2D1%2C4%2Ddiol

6, record 25, English, - 3%2D%284%2Dchlorophenyl%29%2D1%2C1%2Ddimethylurea

Lockheed Martin has begun drop tests of its SCALPEL low-collateral-damage munition, the company announced May 27. Three inert SCALPELs were released by two AV-8B Harriers during a recent flight test at the Navy's China Lake test range in California, hitting their marks. The next phase of flights will demonstrate warhead lethality, the company said. SCALPEL is essentially a weaponized version of the company's enhanced laser guided training round with improved guidance and a small warhead. It is envisioned as an affordable option for close air support roles, especially in urban areas where it is crucial to hit targets precisely and avoid collateral effects. Medium-and large-sized unmanned aerial vehicles like the MQ-1 Predator could carry it as well as manned aircraft like the USAF F-16 and Navy/Marine Corps F/A-18 and AV-8B, according to Lockheed Martin. 3, record 27, English, - small%20contained%20area%20laser%20precision%20energetic%20load

A terme, [...] 1, record 27, French, - bombe%20Scalpel

USAF F-15s and USN F-14s, carrying various "conceptual missiles" with seekers provided by Hughes Aircraft and Ford Aerospace, were pitted against F-5Es armed with representations of the AIM-9L Sidewinder; the latter aircraft/missile combination was simulating the predicted Soviet threat of the 1980s. 1, record 54, English, - conceptual%20missile

It remains to be seen whether forward sweep can satisfy the full supercruiser requirement, if that is eventually the direction chosen by the USAF for its next fighter. Grumman studies indicate that forward sweep can be adapted to single-engined deflected-thrust VTOL. 1, record 55, English, - deflected%2Dthrust%20VTOL

2, record 55, French, - ADAV%20%C3%A0%20pouss%C3%A9e%20orientable
