«Une cause ou considération valable» [...] Presque chaque mot de ce bijou est un solécisme. [...] Voici une dégradation par rapport au texte de 1890 qui, lui, portait «de valeur». «Valable» reflète moins «valeur» que «validité» : cet adjectif traduit plutôt le concept d'equity de «good consideration», c'est-à-dire «cause valable», par opposition au concept de la law, qui exige une contrepartie ayant une valeur au moins pour le débiteur de la prestation réciproque. 2, record 1, French, - contrepartie%20valable%20et%20suffisante

The distinction which is more significant than the distinction between freehold and leasehold ownership is the distinction between the long and the short lease. For most purposes a 999-year lease may be indistinguishable from freehold ownership; a weekly tenancy is much less valuable and its value will depend on the degree of security available. In the case of a 999-year lease the whole of the capital value more or less has been transferred to the tenant. In the case of a weekly tenancy-apart from his security-the tenant is receiving nothing but the present use of the property and the capital value remains in the landlord.(Harwood, 1975, p. 499). 1, record 6, English, - short%20lease

Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber (IIR). Butyl is a common term used for the isobutylene isoprene elastomer. As the name implies, butyl is comprised of isobutylene with a small amount of isoprene. It is known for its excellent resistance to water, steam, alkalis, and oxygenated solvents. Another outstanding characteristic is low gas permeation. Butyl is capable of providing high energy absorption (dampening) and good hot tear strength. 2, record 16, English, - butyl%20rubber

Proper recordation imparts constructive notice to the world of the existence of the recorded document and its contents. It protects both innocent purchasers for value who act in ignorance of an unrecorded instrument and the grantee in the event that the deed is altered or lost. Any conveyance not properly recorded is generally void as against any subsequent purchaser, lessee, or mortgagee in good faith and for a valuable consideration who, without having actual notice of the unrecorded conveyance, records his or her subsequent interest in the property.(Reilly, 2nd ed., 1982, p. 396). 2, record 20, English, - unrecorded
