Doorside pickup. A common way for customers to get their curbside orders is by retrieving them right at the front door of the business. In order to minimize contact and maximize efficiency, many stores set up a table with orders right inside their front door so customers don’t have to walk through the entire store or restaurant to retrieve their order. The table is typically front and center so customers know they don’t have to enter or go to the register to retrieve their order.

Steps for Life – Walking for Victims of Workplace Tragedy is a 5 km fundraising walk to help support families who have suffered from a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease. It's the primary fundraising event for Threads of Life, a national registered charity dedicated to supporting families ofworkplace tragedy. Steps for Life also raises awareness about the importance of health and safety within workplaces and to the public. It's a unique way to educate your community about the devastating ripple effects of a workplace tragedy and how we can work together to prevent others from being injured or killedon the job.

After the brakes have been set, perform the line check. Make sure there are no twists in the risers. Isolate the steering lines(on rear riser), the "C" & "D" Lines(also on rear riser) and the "A" & "D"(on the front riser) on each hand as shown. DEF

An increase in wind speed induced by terrain features, such as the curvature of a hill.

CONT

Speed up effects : Tunnel effect. If you push an ordinary bicycle air pump,... you will notice that the air leaving the nozzle moves much faster than the speed with which you are pushing. The reason, of course, is that the nozzle is much narrower than the cylinder in the pump. If you take a walk between tall buildings, or in a narrow mountain pass, you will notice that the same effect is working : the air becomes compressed on the windy side of the buildings or mountains, and its speed increases considerably between the obstacles to the wind. This is known as a "tunnel effect. "So, even if the general wind speed in open terrain may be, say, 6 metres per second, it can easily reach 9 metres per second in a natural "tunnel. "Placing a wind turbine in such a tunnel is one clever way of obtaining higher wind speeds than in the surrounding areas.

CONT

DEF

The model called diffusion-limited aggregation(DLA) was introduced by Witten and Sander(1981).... The rules of the model are simple. One puts a seed particle at the origin of the lattice. Another particle is launched far from the origin and is allowed to walk at random(diffuse) until it arrives at a site adjacent to the seed particle. Then it is stopped, and another particle is launched which stops when adjacent to the two occupied sites, and so forth. In this way large clusters can be generated whose structure is expected to be characteristic for objects grown under diffusion-limited conditions.

OBS

Diffusion-limited aggregation with disaggregation (Botet and Julien 1985) is an interesting modification of the original DLA model, because during its simulation an equilibrium type regime is attained.

CONT

The DLA process might well represent the diffusion of zinc ions through a two-dimensional electrolytic solution. When ions come in contact with an aggregation of metallic zinc at an electrode, they immediately bond, with their atomic mates in the aggregate.
