FOG causes sudden but transient interruption of walking. Patients describe feeling as if their feet are “glued” or “stuck” to the floor. FOG is commonly observed while initiating gait(“start hesitation”) such as after getting up from a chair or getting out of a car. It often occurs while turning when it commonly causes sudden falls. It may also be caused by a visible obstacle in the path, walking through a doorway or narrow space, in a crowded or cluttered environment, or in a situation in which the patient is rushed or startled. 3, record 3, English, - freezing%20of%20gait

Gait disorders seen in cerebellar disturbance include walking with a wide base(separation of the legs), unsteadiness and irregularity of steps(some long, some short), and lateral veering. The patient may compensate for these abnormalities by shuffling so that both feet stay on the ground most of the time. Asking a patient heel-to-toe walk might bring out mild cerebellar gait problems. 1, record 5, English, - cerebellar%20gait
