Steel boilers are fabricated into one assembly of a given size and rating, usually by welding. The heat exchange surface past the firebox usually is an assembly of vertical, horizontal, or slanted tubes. The tubes may be firetube(flue gas inside, heated fluid outside) or watertube(fluid inside). The tubes may be in one or more passes. As with cast-iron boilers, dry base, wet leg, or wet base design may be used. The majority of small steel heating boilers are of dry base, vertical firetube design. Larger boilers usually have horizontal or slanted tubes; both firetube and watertube designs are used. A popular design for medium and large steel boilers, is the Scotch, or Scotch Marine, which is characterized by having a central fluid-backed cylindrical firebox, surrounded by firetubes in one or more passes, all within the outer shell.... Steel boiler sizes range from approximately 14. 7 kW(150 mBh) to the largest boilers made. 2, record 12, English, - steel%20boiler

As the exploitation of a wet field progresses, pressures and water levels in the aquifer will fall and the mass rate of fluid recharge will consequently increase owing to the greater head differential from outside the field. 1, record 13, English, - mass%20rate%20of%20fluid%20recharge

Armstead-Hero turbine... The intended purpose of this concept is to provide an extremely cheap turbine capable of handling wet or dry geothermal fluids at the wellheads of newly sunk productive bores, so as to put to immediate use the fluid that would normally be blown to waste. It would thus serve as a pilot plant... In principle the machine reverts to the 2000 year old Hero engine, in that it is a reaction turbine of the simplest type. 1, record 15, English, - Armstead%2DHero%20turbine
