Small, random, white spots produced on a television or radar screen by inherent noise signals originating in the receiver. 2, record 3, English, - snow
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
... noise has its most deleterious effect on reception quality when it occurs in the input circuitry of the receiver, since this is usually where the basic signal-to-noise ratio is established. The generation of noise in this area is principally caused by thermal agitation in resistive input components. When the incoming signal is too weak to override this noise, a visual effect is displayed on the picture tube that is commonly referred to as snow. Although there are other types of noise that produce different visual effects, snow is the most common visual effect. 3, record 3, English, - snow

[Ring laser gyro] Gyro noise has many causes, thus there are a large number of ways to specify gyro noise and model its effect. The most basic model for gyro noise is a random constant or bias. The random bias can be modeled in the same way the null-shift bias is modeled, and the two effects can be added together. Gyro noise may also be modeled as a random walk(i. e., integrated white noise). 1, record 13, English, - gyro%20noise

1, record 13, French, - bruit%20des%20gyroscopes
