Traditionally, the acceptance standards for concrete involve strength determinations at an age of 28 days ... This test age has been used universally as the reference time at which concrete strengths are reported. However, for high strength concretes, it has become common to determine compressive strengths at 56 days, or even 90 days ... The increase in strength between 28 and 56 or 90 days can be considerable (10 % to 20 %), and this can lead to economies in construction. 1, record 1, English, - 28%2Dday%20compressive%20strength
