Canadian Judicial Council. The role of the Appeal Courts Committee is to exchange information among all Council members on Appeal Courts and to identify, consider, and recommend solutions to problems unique to appellate court jurisdiction and procedures. The committee also considers and makes recommendations to the Council about ways to increase efficiency, promote uniformity, and improve the quality of judicial service in the administration of the courts.
