A Project by the International Development Research Center (IDRC). The Association for Caribbean Transformation's Agricultural Information System (ACT-AIS) is a computerized database originally designed to monitor national data on the agricultural sector in five categories: Commodity prices in the wholesale and retail markets; The prices of agricultural inputs; Estimates production costs for various crops; Recorded data on total production; Supply and agricultural trade data. Presently, most of this type of data is collected by and retrievable from official (state) institutions in the Eastern Caribbean region.

Projet du Centre de recherches pour le développement international (CRDI). L'Association pour la transformation du système d'information agricole des Antilles (ACT-AIS) s'est fait connaître sous la forme d'une base de données informatisées conçue pour enregistrer les données nationales sur le secteur agricole dans les domaines suivants : le prix des denrées sur les marchés de gros et de détail; le prix des facteurs de production agricole; la prévision des coûts de production de diverses cultures; les données consignées sur la production intérieure; les données sur l'approvisionnement et le commerce des produits agricoles. Présentement, ce sont les organismes d'État des Antilles orientales qui recueillent et diffusent la majorité de ce genre de données.
