Fondée en 1980, l’Association des bénévoles de la Vallée-de-la-Lièvre est un organisme sans but lucratif, dont les principaux bailleurs de fonds sont l’Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de l’Outaouais et Centraide Outaouais. La mission de l'Association est de soutenir les aînés et les personnes en perte d’autonomie et offrir de l’accompagnement-transport aux familles en difficulté. L’Association des bénévoles de la Vallée-de-la-Lièvre a pour mandat de desservir la population âgée de la Vallée-de-la-Lièvre. L’Association, qui rejoint quelques centaines de personnes âgées, vise à favoriser leur autonomie en les soutenant dans leur choix de demeurer à domicile.
