Le centre d'alerte fédéral canadien bénéficie des services du «Automated Forward Tell Output» du NORAD qui est un système de téléimprimeur automatique qui transmet aux utilisateurs canadiens les prédictions d'attaques de missiles, les informations relatives à la trajectoire des avions, l'information relative aux attaques et les rapports de contre-mesures électroniques. Les messages sont produits automatiquement par un ordinateur et sont transmis aux utilisateurs par des circuits de téléimprimeurs. Le centre d'alerte fédéral canadien transmet ensuite l'information aux centres provinciaux qui avertissent à leur tour le public.
