Candida Urethritis. The yeast Candida albicans can support a chronic urethritis, especially secondarily when there is previous damage to the epithelia or predisposing factors (e.g., immune deficiency, diabetes mellitus) or by ascending from a Candida balanitis or vulvovaginitis.
