Video produced in 1993 by the Cariboo Tribal Council, Williams Lake, British Columbia. This documentary explores the far-reaching and emotionally devastating effects residential schools have had on First Nations in Canada. The video tells the history of these government-mandated schools, the painful personal stories of abuse and the resulting "multi-generational grief," and it describes how First Nations communities have begun the process of healing.
