A method of increasing an image pixel count by moving pixels an "x" distance, sampling the colors of its neighbors and creating new pixels based on an average of those colors.

OBS

[Bicubic resampling] is a reasonable method of interpolating an image's pixels, but, on larger scales, yields a soft image.
