Ensemble des matériaux assurant l'adhérence de l'émulsion magnétique sur le support d'une bande vidéo ou audio.

CONT

On mélange dans des proportions très précises les oxydes dans les matériaux formant le liant (solvant, dispersant, résines, lubrifiant, etc.). Il faut assurer une dispersion uniforme des particules d'oxyde dans le liant par des broyeurs et agitateurs mécaniques. La couche magnétique contient environ 70% d'oxyde magnétique pour 30% de liant.
