The Canadian Epilepsy Consortium (CEC) is a national investigator network of over 40 academic and community based neurologists who specialize in treating both pediatric and adult patients with epilepsy. The goal of the CEC is to develop and promote multi-centre epilepsy research projects in Canada. The CEC was established in 1996 and became a non-profit corporation in 1998.
