Cardé, ée : (opposé à peigné). Dont les fibres courtes, démêlées grossièrement, ne sont pas rectilignes et donnent au fil un aspect plus grossier que dans la laine peignée. Tissu de laine cardée. Le cardé est moins apprécié que le peigné.
