Experimental exposure may be acute - that is, an exposure in which the dose is delivered in a single event and absorption is rapid. Although this type of exposure is usually short, an acute exposure may produce chronic effects. In contrast, there is a need to assess effects under chronic exposure conditions in which the dose is delivered at some frequency (daily or weekly usually) over a period of time. 3, record 3, English, - chronic%20exposure

1, record 3, French, - exposition%20chronique
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
