This is a joint project between Newfoundland Telephone Co. Ltd. and two high schools in the province - Bishops College in St. John's, and Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts. A technology trial that began in June of 1995, CLASSconnect will be ongoing until June 1996. The primary purpose of the trial is to test new Wide Area Networking (WAN) technology, as well as to trial WAN applications within the educational environment.
