OBS

The CEF program's main objective is to support the Government's commitment in the November 2008 Speech from the Throne to make greater use of technologies that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from energy production, and thus contribute to the Government's overall commitments of reducing Canada's total GHG emissions by 20% from 2006 levels by 2020, and that 90% of Canada's electricity needs be met by non-emitting sources by 2020.
