The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario is the governing body established by the provincial government to regulate the practice of Occupational Therapy in Ontario. It is not a teaching College. Rather, its mission is to protect the public interest by setting standards for entry to the profession, establishing programs and guidelines to ensure that OT's practiced safely and competently, and investigating concerns raised about registrants' practice.
