DAODs are Defence Administrative Orders and Directives which will be new documents created initially from the ashes of Canadian Forces Administrative Orders, Civilian Personnel Administrative Orders and National Defence Headquarters Policy Directives and Instructions. Over time, we expect other administrative documents, such as the Financial Administration Manual, to migrate into DAODs.
