The Departmental Biotechnology Office provides an integrated focal point for work on health-related biotechnology within Health Canada, as well as within the federal government and externally. The Office also serves as a central point for science issues concerning the Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB), and is the lead office for the Science Library Network.
