Subject field(s)
  • Drainage and Irrigation (Agric.)
  • Tillage Operations (Agriculture)
CONT

Dykes cannot be put in until the final land leveling operation has been completed. However, dyke construction will disturb the leveled surface, unless dirt is hauled in, which is impractical. Use of an A-crowder (...) or disker (...) produces a dyke by borrowing dirt adjacent to the dyke. This leaves the center strip high with a low area at the sides of the strip.

Domaine(s)
  • Drainage et irrigation (Agriculture)
  • Travaux du sol (Agriculture)
CONT
