Il y a «dribble» lorsqu'un joueur qui contrôle le ballon donne une impulsion en le lançant, en le frappant ou en le roulant sur le sol et le retouche avant qu'il ne soit touché par un autre joueur. Lorsque le ballon n'est pas en contact avec sa main, le joueur peut faire autant de pas qu'il veut lors du dribble. Le dribble se termine lorsque le joueur touche le ballon des deux mains ou le tient. Un joueur ne peut exécuter de dribble que lorsqu'il a le contrôle du ballon. Il est néanmoins interdit de faire un second dribble d'affilée; après avoir complété un dribble, le joueur doit perdre et reprendre le contrôle du ballon avant de faire un nouveau dribble. Il perd le contrôle quand il y a une passe ou une perte involontaires du ballon alors que celui-ci est touché par un autre joueur. 3, record 7, French, - dribble
