The purpose of the Dublin Core Application Profile for Web Resource Discovery in the Government of Canada is to document how the GC [Government of Canada] uses DC [Dublin Core] terms to describe its Web resources. It identifies and describes the attributes of the terms for the metadata elements and refinements maintained by the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) that the GC has adopted to aid discovery of its Web resources.
